About the Event
The Dave Fons Memorial Fund began hosting a fishing tournament in Florida in 2020. Since then, the event has grown exponentially into what it is today thanks to our amazing sponsors and anglers. We now hold Junior and Adult divisions, as well as Offshore and Inshore divisions. In addition to the fishing tournament, our two-day event includes a cocktail party, captain’s meeting, raffle, and award’s banquet. We currently hold our event at the Westin Cape Coral Resort at Marina Village in Cape Coral, Florida.
Fins for Fons Registration
Junior and Adult Anglers may register for offshore or inshore divisions. All registrations include a complimentary official event shirt and swag bag. Guided Captains can be purchased for an additional fee for inshore division anglers. Registration will open the April prior to that year’s event.
